He devoted into the scientific career, and made an outstanding contribution to the Chinese mathematical career and talents cultivation for all his life. In order to cherish the great achievements of Professor Loo-Keng HUA, encourage our mathematicians making prominent contribution to Chinese mathematical career, as well as promote the development of our mathematics, the Chinese Mathematical Society and Hunan Education Publishing House decided to launch the “Hua Loo-Keng Prize of Mathematics”. The award is for those Chinese mathematicians who have made outstanding contribution in the field of mathematics. Hunan Education Publishing House which has been enthusiastic in developing Chinese mathematics careers is responsible for the sponsor of the award. The Chinese Mathematical Society is responsible for deciding and awarding. The Hua Loo-Keng Prize of Mathematics since its establishment in 1992 has been held for 19 consecutive sessions. The Hua Loo-Keng Prize is awarded annually since 2022 , with no more than one Chinese mathematician awarded, and the awardee will be rewarded 200,000 RMB.
